Al-Sharaa: We are working for a future in which Syria regains the place it deserves
New York, September 24 (Hibya) – Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa said that from the podium of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly, they gave voice to a Syria that is returning and rising again, adding that the contacts in New York served to strengthen the country’s presence within the international community.
Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa said in a statement regarding his contacts in New York that they held discussions aimed at strengthening the country’s partnerships and opening new horizons for a future shaped by the will of the Syrian people.
Al-Sharaa said they gave voice to Syria from the podium of the UN General Assembly, adding that the contacts in New York contributed to strengthening the country’s presence within the international community.
Al-Sharaa said, “It served to open broader horizons for a future that will be shaped by the will of the Syrian people and in which Syria will regain the place and role it deserves.”
