Albusaidi: Serious negotiations are needed for lasting peace
Muscat, April 8 (Hibya) – Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi stated that serious negotiations are needed to turn the current situation following global tensions into lasting peace, reiterating Oman’s support for regional security efforts.
Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi commented on recent developments in the region and the continuity of the peace process.
Describing the current situation as a turning point, Albusaidi said, “For now, the world has stepped back from the brink of disaster. However, there is no room for complacency. Serious negotiations are now needed for lasting peace.”
Emphasizing regional security goals, Albusaidi concluded, “Oman will support this effort for the vital and urgent objective of strong and lasting regional security.”
