Anand: Canada will formalize its bid to host the Francophonie Summit
Paris, March 25 (Hibya) - Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand announced that she will hold bilateral meetings and attend the G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting during her visit to Paris and Vaux-de-Cernay Abbey from March 25 to 27, 2026.
In a statement by Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand, details of her visit to France and the official engagements within this scope were shared.
Anand said: “I have arrived in Paris for the G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting; here I will focus on coordinated actions addressing the most urgent global issues.”
During this trip covering March 25–27, 2026, Minister Anand will also attend the G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and hold various bilateral meetings.
