White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt made a statement regarding a security breach that occurred at midnight at President Donald Trump’s residence.

Sharing details of the incident, Leavitt said, “At midnight, while most Americans were asleep, the United States Secret Service acted swiftly and decisively to neutralize a deranged individual who entered President Trump’s home with a firearm and a gas bomb.”

Speaking about the work of federal law enforcement, Leavitt stated, “Federal law enforcement works 24/7 to keep our country safe and protect all Americans.”

Leavitt concluded her remarks by saying, “The Democrats’ choice to shut down this department is shameful and reckless.”
