US Ambassador to Ankara and Special Envoy for Syria Tom Barrack published a message on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
Extending his warmest wishes to the people of Türkiye, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Muslims around the world, Barrack said: “In times of chaos and uncertainty, holidays offer an opportunity to pause, reflect and find hope. Even when tensions are high and the future seems uncertain, they remind us that lasting change begins with small steps. Simple but conscious choices such as understanding, kindness and tolerance can, over time, transform division into dialogue and strangers into neighbors.”
Delivering a message of peace and cooperation, Barrack added: “We reaffirm our commitment to move forward together for peace, shared prosperity and mutual understanding. I wish this holiday brings happiness, health and peace to you and your loved ones.”
