Amsterdam, October 2 (Hibya) - Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen said he held a meeting with European Commissioner Piotr Serafin on the next European Union budget.

In a statement on his social media account, Berendsen said the Netherlands supports focusing the budget on security and defense, migration and competitiveness.
Stating that the budget should remain affordable, Berendsen noted that strategic priorities require clear choices.
