Budrys: We will strengthen cooperation with Spain in defense industry and high technology
Vilnius, September 29 (Hibya) - Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys said he hosted a delegation from the Spanish Congress Foreign Affairs Committee in Vilnius and stated that the two countries should develop bilateral cooperation in the defense industry, high technology and innovation.

In a social media post, Budrys said Spain is a reliable NATO ally and a valued partner of the European Union.
Budrys said Lithuania appreciates Spain’s contribution to deterrence and defense on NATO’s Eastern Flank, adding that bilateral cooperation between the two countries should also be developed at a time of increasing challenges.
Budrys said cooperation should be strengthened particularly in the defense industry, high technology and innovation, adding that Lithuania and Spain are united by a shared commitment to a stronger Europe and a stronger alliance.
Budrys said the partnership between the two countries should be further deepened.
