Cassis discusses cross-border cooperation with Lombardy President Fontana
Bern, October 2 (Hibya) - Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis discussed areas of cross-border cooperation with Lombardy Regional President Attilio Fontana.
Swiss Foreign Minister Cassis shared a post on his social media account regarding his meeting with Lombardy Regional President Fontana.
Cassis said he was pleased to meet Fontana again following their meeting during the Olympic Games in Milan.
Noting that dialogue was continuing across various areas of cross-border cooperation, Cassis said he visited Soncino at Fontana's invitation.
Cassis highlighted Soncino's historical and cultural wealth and provided information about the Sforza Castle in the town and the printing house where the first Hebrew Bible was printed in 1488.
