Costa sends condolences to Norway
Brussels, August 28 (Hibya) - European Council President António Costa extended his condolences to the Norwegian Royal Family, the government and the people of Norway following the death of King Harald V.
European Council President António Costa said in a statement that he had learned of the death of Norway’s King Harald V with deep sadness. Costa said King Harald V had dedicated his life to serving the Norwegian people and was highly respected both at home and abroad.
Costa said Harald V’s many years of dedicated service to his country would be remembered with great respect. The European Council President offered his deepest condolences to the Norwegian Royal Family, the government and the people of Norway during the period of national mourning.
