Dar meets with Saudi counterpart
Islamabad, August 28 (Hibya) - Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a meeting with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
The statement said Dar congratulated Prince Faisal on the consensus election of Mauritania’s Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed as the new Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The two ministers exchanged views on regional developments and matters of mutual interest, including the upcoming R4 meeting. The ministers also agreed to remain in close contact.
