Dar reviews prices and supply of essential commodities
Islamabad, 29 November (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, convened a meeting to ensure uninterrupted and fair-priced availability of essential commodities across the country.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar chaired a meeting today to assess the prices and supply situation of essential goods.
During the meeting, the current supply conditions were reviewed, and instructions were issued to ensure continuous and fairly-priced availability of essential commodities nationwide.
The meeting was attended by the Minister for Food, the Minister for Commerce, the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Tariq Bajwa, the Secretaries of Commerce and Food, the FBR Chairman, the TCP Chairman, Provincial Food and Agriculture Secretaries, and other relevant officials.
Dar emphasized the importance of ensuring the public’s access to essential goods and directed all authorities to exercise diligence in implementation.
