Dar: We remain committed to working with partners
Vienna, February 17 (Hibya) - Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar attended the high-level event titled “Sustainable Development: Pathways to Global Peace and Prosperity” held at the United Nations Office in Vienna.

Stating that as the world goes through a turbulent period of transformation, their roles are becoming increasingly important and challenging, Dar said: “Pakistan remains steadfast in its commitment to the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter and recognizes the indispensable role of the United Nations in promoting global peace and security, sustainable development and human rights.”
Dar said they believe the United Nations must be strengthened, adequately resourced and reformed to effectively address the realities of a multipolar world and emerging global challenges, adding: “Pakistan remains committed to working with all partners for a future where peace, prosperity and sustainable development go hand in hand.”
