Dutch Foreign Minister Berendsen meets Panamanian counterpart Martinez-Acha
The Hague, April 15 (Hibya) – Dutch and Panamanian officials met in The Hague to discuss cooperation in areas such as combating cross-border crime, port operations, and water management.
Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen held a meeting in The Hague with Panama’s foreign affairs official Javier Martínez-Acha.
During the meeting, within the framework of the shared priorities of both sides, which are neighbors in the Caribbean, strengthening cooperation in combating transnational organized crime, port operations, water management and similar areas was discussed.
The parties also exchanged views on global and regional geopolitical developments. It was noted that mutual information was shared regarding Panama’s approach to international and regional developments.
