Estonian Foreign Minister Tsahkna met with a UAE delegation
Munich, February 15 (Hibya) – Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna discussed support for Ukraine and the European Union (EU)–UAE Free Trade Agreement with officials from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Estonian Foreign Minister Tsahkna met with UAE Minister of State Lana Nusseibeh on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference (MSC2026).
During the meeting, the parties addressed peace efforts and cooperation in supporting Ukraine following talks held in Abu Dhabi. Tsahkna noted that the UAE and Estonia are working together to contribute to Ukraine’s reconstruction in the fields of education and innovation.
The sides also discussed advancing the EU–UAE Free Trade Agreement, which would bring benefits to both parties.
