New York, September 22 (Hibya) – United Nations Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher said three main themes stood out at the UN General Assembly yesterday.
United Nations Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher said the UN General Assembly addressed protecting humanitarian workers and international law, supporting the plan to save 87 million lives this year, and providing assistance to reach 11 million people who are currently inaccessible.
Fletcher said: “Protect humanitarian workers and international law; support our plan to save 87 million lives this year; and help us reach the 11 million people we currently cannot reach.”
