Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Ghebreyesus stated that attacks on health services continue in Sudan, preventing people from accessing urgently needed care.

He noted that a large part of Al-Nuhud Hospital in West Kordofan is currently occupied, depriving the population of adequate medical care. “Last week, MSF announced that it withdrew its staff from Zalingei Hospital in Central Darfur after a health worker was killed earlier this month,” he said.

Ghebreyesus reported that since the conflict began in April 2023, WHO has confirmed 198 attacks on health services, resulting in 1,735 health workers and patients killed and 438 injured.

Stressing that attacks on health services violate international humanitarian law, Ghebreyesus called on all parties to ensure the protection of patients, health workers, and medical facilities.
