Global markets close the week with mixed figures
Istanbul, November 3 (Hibya) – Major indicators across global equity markets showed diverging trends, while the S&P 500 VIX index recorded a sharp increase of 8.91 percent.
According to global market summary data, the Dow Jones index gained 0.41 percent, reaching 51,983.98 points. The S&P 500 index declined by 0.51 percent to 7,541.40 points, while the S&P 500 VIX index, which reflects market risk appetite, rose by 8.91 percent to 21.15. Meanwhile, the MSCI World index recorded a marginal loss of 0.02 percent, remaining at 4,843.32 points.
