Guterres: Renewable energy revolution unstoppable


New York, May 5 (Hibya) - United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said the phased ending of fossil fuels is inevitable.

UN Secretary-General Guterres said the renewable energy revolution is unstoppable. Guterres stated, "The phased ending of fossil fuels is inevitable. Our task is to ensure that the transition is sufficiently rapid and fair - to limit global temperature rise to 1.5°C and bring affordable clean energy benefits to everyone by 2030."
