Guterres: We are ready to assist Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia
New York, 3 December (Hibya) – United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed deep sadness over the severe floods and landslides that occurred in Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia.
Secretary-General Guterres said he was deeply saddened by the severe floods and landslides affecting Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia.
He extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and expressed solidarity with all who were affected by the disaster.
Guterres stated that the UN is ready to support relief and response efforts.
