Imamoğlu: "Istanbullers objected, plans for Canal Istanbul canceled"
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem Imamoğlu announced the cancellation of the zoning plans for Canal Istanbul.
In his statement, Imamoğlu said, "Istanbullers objected, plans for Canal Istanbul canceled. The 11th Administrative Court found the objections against the plan prepared by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, which will bring millions of new residents to our city and destroy its nature and water resources, justified."
