Aslan and his accompanying delegation met with Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ebubekir Gizligider. During the meeting, information was shared about the preparation process and scope of the summit planned to be held in Elazığ, while views on conducting the organization in cooperation with relevant public institutions were discussed.

Following the meeting, the delegation thanked Deputy Minister Gizligider for his support and hospitality.

As part of the summit preparations, Aslan and Aquaculture Engineer Yeşim Arslanoğlu from the Ana-Süm-Der Ankara Branch Management also met with Director General of Fisheries and Aquaculture Turgay Türkyılmaz.

During the meeting, the work being carried out within the scope of the summit was evaluated, along with the development of the aquaculture sector, bringing sector representatives together and promoting Elazığ’s potential in aquaculture.

Stands will also be set up at the summit

As part of the summit planned to be held in Elazığ, exhibition stand areas are also planned in addition to meetings and panels.

Institutions, organizations, companies, producers and entrepreneurs operating in the aquaculture sector are expected to promote their products and services at the stands. Aquaculture products, technology, equipment and local products are also planned to be presented to visitors in these areas.

Through the work carried out by Ana-Süm-Der, the summit aims to bring together sector representatives, academics, producers, public institutions and relevant organizations.

Preparations for the “International Aquaculture Summit Elazığ 2026” are reported to be continuing.
