Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi held a meeting with his Qatari counterpart, Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.

The two senior diplomats discussed bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments.

Araghchi praised Qatar’s positive efforts regarding the Iranian nuclear issue and briefed the Qatari side on the latest diplomatic talks held between Iran and the United States in Muscat, the capital of Oman.

The two sides also discussed regional developments, underlining that safeguarding the security and stability of West Asia is a shared responsibility of all regional countries.
