Klisurski to attend Eurogroup and ECOFIN meetings in Brussels
Sofia, March 9 (Hibya) - Bulgarian Finance Minister Georgi Klisurski will represent Bulgaria at the Eurogroup and European Union Economic and Financial Affairs Council (ECOFIN) meetings to be held in Brussels on March 9-10, 2026.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Bulgaria, Minister Georgi Klisurski will participate in meetings that set the economic and financial agenda of the European Union.
Ireland’s national fiscal and structural plan for the 2026-2030 period is also expected to be approved.
Among the topics to be discussed will also be the economic and financial consequences of Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
