EU Commissioner Hadja Lahbib shared her assessments on the importance of increasing women’s representation in leadership positions and the role of equality in shaping the digital future.

Drawing attention to biases in technology, Lahbib said: “If old prejudices seep into artificial intelligence, they will shape the world of tomorrow. Tech jobs, global summits: they are still too often male-dominated.”

Emphasizing the necessity of women’s leadership, Lahbib stated: “The world needs more women in leadership positions. That was my message at the conference on women’s leadership.”
