Larijani: If bases in your countries are used against us, we will target them
Tehran, March 1 (Hibya) - Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani stated, addressing regional countries, that U.S. bases on their territory would be targeted if used in operations against Iran.
Ali Larijani issued warnings in a statement addressed to countries in the region.
Larijani emphasized that they do not intend to directly attack regional countries, but would respond if U.S. bases are used.
Larijani said, “To the countries of the region: We will not attack you. However, when the bases located in your countries are used against us and the United States conducts operations in the region using these forces, we will target those bases.”
Pointing out that the bases belong to America, Larijani added, “These bases are not your territory; they are American territory.”
