Leyen: Developments in the Middle East are worrying, tensions must be reduced urgently
Brussels, June 13 (Hibya) - European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated that the news coming from the Middle East is extremely concerning and called on all parties to exercise maximum restraint in light of the growing tensions in the region.
Von der Leyen emphasized that the parties must avoid mutual retaliation and take immediate steps to de-escalate. In her statement, she stressed that the search for a diplomatic solution has become more urgent than ever for regional stability and global security.
