According to the statement released by the ministry, the Locked Shields-2024 Exercise under the coordination of the NATO Cyber Defense Center of Excellence (Estonia/Tallinn) was executed from April 22 to 26, 2024.

This year, the Republic of Albania and Turkey participated in a joint blue team formed together.

The exercise, conducted over a virtual network and involving 39 countries, saw participation from the Turkish Blue Team under the Turkish Armed Forces Cyber Defense Command.

The statement noted, "In the exercise, which tested various cyber attack scenarios against cyber entities and critical infrastructures, the capabilities of our Armed Forces, public institutions, and companies operating in the cybersecurity sector were successfully tested."
