Macron: France is advancing in artificial intelligence with major science-based investments
Paris, February 7 (Hibya) – French President Emmanuel Macron outlined France’s commitment to science and technology, as well as public and private sector investments in artificial intelligence.
French President Macron stated that France is implementing a 30-million-euro program aimed at supporting around 40 top-level international researchers in the field of artificial intelligence.
Macron noted that since 2022, 54 billion euros have been mobilized under the France 2030 program for investments in health, climate, basic sciences and artificial intelligence, adding that at the Paris AI Summit, more than 100 billion euros in private sector investments were announced by French and international companies to develop AI in France.
Emphasizing that in 2025 France ranked first among countries attracting foreign capital for data center investments, Macron highlighted that artificial intelligence is a tool that strengthens science and moves the world forward.
