European Parliament President Roberta Metsola said she thanked the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU team for its close cooperation with the European Parliament, as well as President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides for his leadership.

Highlighting the strong coordination between the teams, Metsola said: "Thank you, Cyprus! Many thanks to the entire Cypriot Presidency team for the excellent synergy and close cooperation with the European Parliament."

Emphasizing the contribution of the Cypriot leadership, Metsola concluded her statement by saying: "Thank you, President Nikos Christodoulides, for your leadership and commitment to a strong and united Europe. Together, we have delivered concrete results for European citizens."
