Mixed trading in Asian stock markets
Istanbul, August 11 (Hibya) - Asian markets showed a mixed performance during the week's trading session.
Asian markets traded mixed during the week's trading session. Stock markets in Japan and Australia recorded gains, while markets in Hong Kong, India and China declined.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 index rose 2.08 percent to 66,970.22 points. In Australia, the S&P/ASX 200 index gained 0.26 percent to reach 9,256.30 points.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index (HSI) fell 0.63 percent to 25,773.56 points. In India, the NIFTY 50 index declined 0.38 percent to 24,491.10 points, while China's Shanghai Composite index traded at 3,964.79 points, down a marginal 0.05 percent.
