Pakistan reviews civil award nominations: Process to be transparent and merit-based
Islamabad, July 14 (Hibya) - Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting to review nominations for civil awards, stressing that the selection process must be transparent, fair, and based entirely on merit.

According to a statement by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting reviewed the nominations submitted for the civil awards.
During the meeting, Dar said that the civil awards are presented in recognition of individuals who have rendered outstanding services to Pakistan.
Emphasizing the importance of conducting the awards process in a transparent, fair, and entirely merit-based manner, Dar stressed that deserving individuals who have made valuable contributions to the country should be properly recognized.
The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister's Special Assistant Tariq Bajwa, Foreign Secretary Ambassador Amna Baloch, the Cabinet Secretary, and senior officials from the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) and the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development.
