Pakistani and Swiss foreign ministers discuss developments in the Middle East
Islamabad, June 13 (Hibya) - Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held talks with Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis.
According to a statement from Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Cassis discussed the progress achieved toward reaching an understanding between the United States and Iran.
During the meeting, the parties stated that they “welcomed the encouraging progress made toward an understanding between the United States and Iran” and expressed hope that the ongoing diplomatic efforts would bring peace and stability to the region.
Dar and Cassis also agreed to remain in close contact regarding regional developments.
