In a statement posted on his social media account, Rubio said the meeting was highly productive and reaffirmed the two countries' commitment to further strengthening the U.S.-Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
Rubio said the discussions focused on advancing bilateral relations, ensuring greater balance in trade ties, and expanding cooperation in the fields of defense and security.
