Şahin met with EU Special Representative for Middle East Peace Process Bigot
Brussels, July 16 (Hibya) – Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Varsin Agabekyan Şahin met with the European Union’s Special Representative for the Middle East Peace Process (EUSR MEPP), Christophe Bigot.
The meeting was held with the participation of the Palestinian Ambassador to Belgium, Luxembourg, and the EU.
During the meeting, solutions were discussed for the crisis of Palestinian tax revenues illegally withheld by Israel. Minister Şahin stressed the need for concrete steps to secure the release of these funds, particularly given the severe humanitarian conditions faced by the people, and underlined the urgency of action.
