Saidov meets Danish counterpart Rasmussen
Tashkent, October 2 (Hibya) - Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov said that political dialogue, the green economy, scientific exchanges, investment and industrial cooperation were discussed during Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen's visit to Uzbekistan.
Uzbek Foreign Minister Saidov announced that he hosted Danish Foreign Minister Rasmussen in Uzbekistan.
In a statement on his social media account, Saidov said that, in addition to bilateral meetings, a roundtable would be held during the visit with the participation of representatives from the Uzbek and Danish business communities.
Saidov noted that Denmark was identified during the talks as one of Uzbekistan's potential partners in Europe, adding that areas of cooperation such as strengthening political dialogue, developing the green economy and expanding scientific exchanges were discussed.
Saidov said special emphasis was placed on developing economic relations through investment and industrial cooperation, and expressed their interest in advancing joint projects with Danish companies in various sectors.
