Sanchez: We cover children's eyewear costs through the Plan Veo initiative
Madrid, September 14 (Hibya) - Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced that the second phase of the "Plan Veo" initiative, launched to support children's eye health, is continuing.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said the initiative provides support of up to 100 euros per year for each child.
Referring to the scope of the project, Sanchez said, "The second phase of the 'Plan Veo' initiative continues until December 31 this year and provides support of up to 100 euros per year for each child for the purchase of glasses or contact lenses."
Emphasizing the importance of the initiative, Sanchez said, "Thanks to this, no child has to grow up with a vision problem simply because their visual impairment cannot be corrected due to their family's lack of financial means."
Sanchez concluded his statement by saying, "We continue to help them learn better, develop better and — most importantly — look toward the future more clearly."
