Stubb sends condolences to Norway
Helsinki, August 28 (Hibya) - Finnish President Alexander Stubb expressed his condolences to the family of Norway’s King Harald V and the Norwegian people following his death.
Finnish President Alexander Stubb said in a statement that news of the death of Norway’s King Harald V had reached Finland, adding that he shared the grief of the King’s family and the Norwegian people.
Stubb said King Harald V would be remembered as an extraordinarily dedicated and respected head of state. Noting that Harald V had served his country faithfully for decades, Stubb said the King had a unique ability to bring together Norwegians from different backgrounds and strengthen the nation’s sense of unity and solidarity in both good and difficult times.
