Sybiha stated that Russia’s attacks on the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra were not accidental, but part of a broader strategy targeting Ukraine’s identity and cultural heritage, saying: “We appreciate Moldova’s principled stance. The international community must ensure accountability and a strong response for every crime committed against Ukraine, its people, and its heritage.”
