Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha, in an interview with Ukrinform, evaluated the contacts held during the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Ukraine’s international position, and current geopolitical developments.

Sybiha stated that Ukraine relies on Türkiye to accelerate the peace process, emphasizing the importance of a meeting at the presidential level. He said Ukraine is ready for such a summit, adding: “The only problem is that Putin is currently avoiding it, whereas the President of Ukraine is ready. We want to end this war; we have concrete proposals.”

Highlighting the importance of diplomatic channels to end the war, Sybiha reiterated his call for a leaders-level meeting between Ukraine and Russia.

He also noted that relations with Türkiye are developing, with deepening cooperation in energy, security, and trade. Sybiha reported that trade volume between the two countries increased by around 40% in 2025, adding that the existing potential has not yet been fully utilized and cooperation should be further expanded.
