The Fed Keeps Interest Rates as Expected at 5.25-5.5%
ISTANBUL-31.01.2024 - The Federal Reserve of the United States (Fed) announced that it is keeping interest rates at their current levels due to increasing consumer confidence and decreasing inflation rates, as expected.
The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) of the Federal Reserve, after 11 increases starting in March 2022, announced that they decided to keep the policy interest rate at 5.25-5.5% during the past summer.
