Trump: We clearly told Iran the ceasefire is over
Washington, July 10 (Hibya) - U.S. President Donald Trump said Iran requested that negotiations continue, the United States accepted the request, but clearly informed Tehran that the ceasefire had ended.
U.S. President Donald Trump said that Iran had asked the United States to continue the negotiations and that Washington agreed to the request.
Trump added, however, that the United States informed Iran "without leaving any room for ambiguity" that the ceasefire was over.
Trump said, "The Islamic Republic of Iran asked us to continue the negotiations, and we agreed. However, the United States clearly and unequivocally informed them that the ceasefire is over."
