Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna officially announced that the Estonian government has decided to open an embassy in Baku, expanding on the message he conveyed during his visit to Baku a few months ago.

Tsahkna shared the decision today during a phone call with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, noting that Azerbaijan is an important partner for Estonia in the South Caucasus region.

Tsahkna stated that Estonian companies are eager to operate in Azerbaijan and emphasized that opening the embassy will create better opportunities to strengthen relations and deepen practical cooperation.
