Tsahkna: Iran and Russia are two sides of the same coin of evil
Tallinn, 16 March (Hibya) - Estonia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Margus Tsahkna emphasized that international pressure on both regimes must increase and sanctions must not be eased, drawing attention to the military and political cooperation between Iran and Russia.
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna made a statement regarding the Iran–Russia alliance.
Referring to the dangers of mutual support between the two countries, Tsahkna said, “Iran and Russia are two sides of the same coin of evil. Iran supported Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, and now Russia supports Iran.”
Minister Tsahkna argued that the stance on sanctions must be clear, stating, “Easing the sanctions imposed on Moscow would send the wrong signal. Pressure on both regimes must increase rather than decrease.”
