Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted the role of Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence in the country’s defense in a statement issued on the occasion of Military Intelligence Day.

The ministry stated that Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence contributes to protecting cities and defensive positions, anticipating enemy actions, and carrying out operations that are important for the country’s defense.

The statement said that behind the successful operations are personnel who carry out their duties under extremely dangerous conditions.

The statement thanked all Ukrainian intelligence officers who perform their duties for Ukraine with courage, dedication and professionalism, and also commemorated those who lost their lives while defending the country.

Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs paid tribute to the memory of intelligence officers who lost their lives and concluded its post with the words: “Respect to Ukrainian military intelligence. Glory to the heroes!”
