Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that, during President Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit to Italy, he had a discussion with Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani.

Sybiha said:

“We discussed the important role played by Italy and other European partners in advancing peace efforts and supporting Ukraine along this path. We also talked about urgent decisions that will strengthen our country and increase pressure on the aggressor.

It is important to ensure the full use of frozen Russian assets, to strengthen Ukraine within the SAFE program, and to further increase contributions to the PURL initiative.”
