President Zelensky reported that he met with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, noting that they had an excellent and highly comprehensive discussion on all aspects of the diplomatic situation. He stated, “We appreciate Italy’s active role in generating practical ideas and identifying steps that bring peace closer.”

Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine relies on Italy’s continued support, adding:

“I would also like to express my gratitude for the energy assistance package and the necessary equipment. These will support Ukrainian families, our people, our children, and daily life in our cities and communities that are constantly exposed to Russian attacks.”
