Uncertainties weigh on European stock markets
Istanbul, March 27 (Hibya) - European markets closed mostly lower yesterday, influenced by uncertainties surrounding peace talks with Iran.
European stock markets ended yesterday’s session largely in negative territory due to uncertainties related to ongoing peace negotiations with Iran.
In the United Kingdom, the FTSE 100 index fell by 134.67 points, or 1.33%, to 9,972.17, while Italy’s FTSE MIB index declined by 311.45 points, or 0.71%, closing at 43,701.84.
In contrast, Germany’s DAX index remained flat at 22,612.97, while the pan-European STOXX 600 index showed no change at 580.84. France’s CAC 40 index also moved sideways at 7,769.31.
