Istanbul, August 18 (Hibya) - U.S. stock market indexes ended the day lower.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.51 percent to 53,459.78 points, while the S&P 500 Index declined 0.52 percent to 7,745.06 points.
The Nasdaq Index fell 0.32 percent to 26,644.91 points, while the Nasdaq 100 Index ended the day down 0.17 percent at 29,995.38 points.
The Russell 2000 Index also lost 0.35 percent, falling to 3,057.54 points.
