US Vice President James David Vance and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed an agreement on peaceful nuclear cooperation between the United States and the Republic of Armenia.

Referring to Armenia’s historical heritage, Vance said, “This is one of the oldest Christian countries in the world; a true cornerstone of Christian civilization and culture.”

Emphasizing the importance of his own faith during the visit, Vance concluded his remarks by saying, “As a devout Christian myself, I know what this country means to the entire world and to the faith that the Prime Minister and I share.”
