Von der Leyen: We stand with the ICC and its officials
Brussels, August 19 (Hibya) - European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, together with the President of the European Council, expressed support for the International Criminal Court and its President Tomoko Akane.

Von der Leyen said the International Criminal Court helps deliver justice to victims of the world's most serious crimes, stressing that the Court's judges and officials must be able to carry out their duties independently and without external pressure.
